Male Indian citizens aged between  16 to 40 years  are eligible to register. Those aged between  35 to 40 years  can register under the  Masters Category .

Yes, every successfully registered player receives a  unique BRPL Player ID (Trial Pass) , which will be used throughout the trials, selection process and auction.

What happens during the city trials?

Players will participate in:    Skill assessment stations    Short-format match simulations    Fitness evaluation    Fielding drills    All trials are conducted using  yellow tennis balls  and  Kashmir Willow Scoop bats , matching BRPL playing conditions.

Who conducts the player trials?

Trials are conducted by BRPL-appointed selectors and scouts under the supervision of the  BRPL Selection Committee , headed by  Mr.   Kiran More .

How many players will be shortlisted?

From approximately  1,00,000 registered players , only  400 players  will be shortlisted for the Trial Matches.

After the Trial Matches,  200 players  will be selected to form the official  BRPL Season 1 Auction Pool .

Can franchise owners watch the trials?

Yes,  franchise owners and their representatives  are invited to attend the Trial Matches to evaluate players before the auction.

Only players included in the  200-player Auction Pool  are eligible to participate in the BRPL Player Auction.

Unsold players will remain in the  Reserve Pool  and may be selected later as injury or replacement players with BRPL approval.

Yes, a replacement is permitted only in cases of:    Injury    Illness    Documented unavailability    All replacements require approval from the BRPL Technical Committee.

No, player replacements are not permitted after the league stage except in exceptional medical cases certified by the BRPL Medical Officer.

Yes, BRPL follows a  strict merit-based selection process  based solely on trial performances and selector evaluations.

What happens if someone tries to influence the selection process?

Any attempt to influence selectors through money, gifts, or other inducements will result in  permanent disqualification  of the player and disciplinary action against any involved officials.
